Below are examples of some of the scams that are most common. There are several types of scams happening;

1. Phishing (fake emails, calls, or web links via text that appear to be Chase bank, Apple, Bank of America, etc.)

2. Scammers who call and pretend to be FBI, Social Security Administration, Insurance or Real Estate Agents, Etc.

3. Fake Publisher's Clearing House scams that make you believe you won millions of dollars

4. Emails or phone calls requesting a ransom for a password or account you used in the past and/or a lie about having you on video doing something inappropriate while asking for money or they claim to send it to all of your friends, followers, or contacts on your phone or social media. This is normally a scam.

5. Scam calls from people claiming that your family member is in jail or in trouble and that you must wire or send cash to certain address deposit in a certain account within 24 hrs. or your family member may go to jail for a long time, etc.
